Morality

Its lack among Progressive-Democrats was on full display in a recent Harris Faulkner interview of Jose Aristimuno, ex-Party Deputy National Press Secretary and current President and Founder of NOW Strategies LLC, a leftist PR and communications company.

He was asked why no one on the first day of the Progressive-Democratic Party convention condemned the violence currently rampant in Progressive-Democrat-run cities.

Aristimuno’s excuse: “Those speeches were taped earlier.”

That’s a dishonest copout. The violence predates those tapings by months. It’s also an easy thing to update those recordings with a simple statement of condemnation.

Not one of the Party’s speakers chose to do any of that.

Progressive-Democrats are shying away from even commenting on the violence in their cities.

Think about what that says about their concept of morality.

Another Lie

Kevin Clinesmith, an ex-FBI lawyer at the heart of the Eric Holder FBI’s smear of Carter Page as part of the Progressive-Democrats’ effort to get back at Donald Trump for his effrontery in winning a Presidential election, has been charged with doctoring an email to justify a surveillance warrant against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.

Here’s the additional lie:

Mr. Clinesmith’s attorney says his client didn’t intend to mislead the court.

He deliberately altered an email to say the opposite of what it actually said when preparing it to be forwarded in support of a surveillance application. How is it possible to do that without intending to mislead the court?

Sounds to me like another of Clinesmith’s lies, this time through his lawyer.

Laughably, some (not the editors) are arguing Clinesmith altered the email to

…convey to the court that Page was not sent by the CIA to meet with the Russians. That’s the difference between an “operational contact” and a “source”. … He shouldn’t have changed the other guy’s email to do it and he therefore is guilty of that, but what he was trying to convey was the truth.

Not quite. If Clinesmith had been interested in the truth, he would have included a separate note explaining his FBI view of the CIA‘s difference between “source” and “operational contact.” He chose not to; he chose to alter the CIA email to say the opposite of what the CIA said about its own asset.

Clinesmith knew what he was doing, and he lied about it.

Hypocrisy

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is at it again. A simple blue line mural, painted outside the city’s 22nd precinct in support of the city’s police, is not allowed. The artist, Scott Lobaido, didn’t have a permit for the mural, so there’s that.

De Blasio didn’t have a permit for his mural in front of the Trump tower, either.

“The mayor of this city, who put his street artwork provocatively in front of Trump Tower, did not have a permit, which he just recently admitted,” artist Scott Lobaido told Fox & Friends First on Thursday.

There’s that, too. Laws and regulations only apply when they’re convenient.

This is the hypocrisy of Progressive-Democrats on full display.

Zuckerberg’s Facebook

lies again. In a video presenting President Donald Trump saying on Fox NewsFox & Friends

My view is that schools should be open. If you look at children, children are almost—and I would almost say definitely—but almost immune from this disease.

The video was posted on Facebook—and then removed entirely. Liz Bourgeois, Facebook’s Communications Director, Strategic Response:

This video includes false claims that a group of people is immune from COVID-19 which is a violation of our policies around harmful COVID misinformation[.]

Therein sits the lie. Almost immune is not immune; saying a group of people is almost immune from this disease is not at all saying that they are immune.

Facebook’s Bourgeois is lying with her allegation. Mark Zuckerberg is lying through his employee—as the controlling shareholder of Facebook, Bourgeois is only saying what he tells her to say/authorizes her to say. Zuckerberg’s Facebook is engaging in cynical—wholly dishonest—censorship.

Lies of Progressive-Democrats

Progressive-Democratic Party Presidential candidate Joe Biden has a record of lying to the public, and Molly Hemingway has called him out for it.

Biden has claimed to have been

arrested in apartheid-era South Africa three decades ago when trying to visit Nelson Mandela.

Biden has…misled… the public regarding

the circumstances of his family’s fatal [1972] car wreck that his [first wife, sons and daughter were] in.

Biden had to leave a Presidential campaign over his having been caught plagiarizing speeches given by Margaret Thatcher and Neil Kinnock.

It’s not just Biden, though.

  • Susan Rice, and Benghazi was the result of a rude video
  • Barack Obama, and we can keep our doctor and our health plan
  • Hillary Clinton, and being shot at in the Balkans
  • Senator Elizabeth Warren (D, MA), and her Native American “heritage”
  • Television commentator Donna Brazille, feeding debate questions to then- Progressive-Democratic Party Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton before that debate.

Lying is what Progressive-Democrats do.

They even lie to each other: then-Progressive-Democratic Party Presidential candidate Warren and then-Progressive-Democratic Party Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I, VT) publicly calling each other liars over a difference of interpretation of a remark Sanders had made. In private.
